The Wu-Shin Chi-Dao Foundation for Self-Development is a non-profit organisation deeply committed to improving the quality of life of all mankind, and is open to suitable men and women irrespective of their age, colour, religion, IQ, or level of education. The Foundation functions through the training and development of individuals to realise their maximum personal potential by the effective resolution of conflict (intrinsic as well as extrinsic), and the nurturing of love and understanding of self and others.
In order to achieve these objectives, the Wu-Shin Chi-Dao Foundation for Self Development offers a prospective student a varied choice of traditional Martial Art, Civilian Defensive, and related systems; realising that individual needs and preferences differ greatly. These systems range from the hard, physical, 'external' arts - to the soft, mental, 'internal' arts, and also include a number of classical Japanese weapon systems of combat. It should be emphasised that the curricula of the Wu-Shin Chi-Dao Foundation for Self Development do not cover any of the modern, competitive, sport-combat or recreational activities.
